The Design Series of 3D Printers compromises of both FDM and Polyjet 3D Printing technology.
Polyjet technology works by jetting state of the art photopolymer materials in ultra-thin layers on to a build tray - layer-by-layer until the high resolution prototype is complete. The intuitive Objet Studio software manages the process.
FDM technology is the foundation for the Fortus and the F123 range of 3D Printers. Materials are heated in an extrusion head and deposited in thin layers on a modeling base. The model is built, layer upon layer with exactness from the bottom up. When the model is complete, the soluble support material material is removed, leaving an accurate and durable 3D prototype.
