Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Autodesk Software Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. Concentrating on the Autodesk manufacturing portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Autodesk software applications and application development. As an Autodesk Software Application Engineer, you will be responsible for Pre/Post Sales support, delivering training, designing, developing, and implementing software solutions tailored to our clients’ needs using Autodesk products. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Pre & Post Sales:

  • Maintain and develop the standard of excellence of customer service for Autodesk® products.
  • Pre-Sales consultancy support for Autodesk® Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 and Vault. including preparation and delivery of effective technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Post-Sales training and consultancy support for Autodesk® product mentioned above including part modelling, assemblies, sheet metal, static and dynamic motion analysis, routing and iLogic applications.
  • Provide telephone helpdesk support for the Autodesk® product portfolio.
  • Management of customer account technical requirements to provide a value-added service.
  • Liaise with the Sales team to drive new business opportunities for Autodesk® products.
  • Assist Marketing to develop collateral across all forms of media.
  • Work with Autodesk® global technical teams to maintain existing Autodesk® accreditations.

Product Development:

  • Develop custom software solutions using Autodesk software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault etc.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Design and implement software features and functionalities to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients during implementation and post-implementation phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Autodesk software updates, tools, and technologies.
  • Document software designs, code, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on Autodesk software applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, .Net, Python, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Autodesk APIs and customization frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Autodesk certifications (ACP/ACI) is desirable but not required.
