This one-day course introduces delegates to the concepts and techniques of sheet metal modelling using Autodesk Inventor. It covers the creation, editing, generation of flat patterns, and documentation of sheet metal designs.

Participants will learn about the sheet metal environment and design process, creating base faces, contour flanges, and contour rolls, managing sheet metal parameters, and creating flanges, hems, folds, and bends. The course also covers corner rounds, chamfers, converting solid models to sheet metal models, making sheet metal cuts, working with corner seams, and generating flat patterns.
