This course is designed to teach engineers how to use Fusion 360 for 2-axis turning, covering everything from tool setup to simulation and post-processing for lathe operations.
Participants will learn to navigate the CAM interface, set up turning jobs, create and use tooling libraries, and apply operations such as facing, turning, boring, grooving, drilling, threading, and chamfering. The course also includes generating setup sheets and simulating toolpaths for manufacturing output.
This course is intended for engineers and machinists in Scotland who are PC literate and understand manufacturing processes, particularly those looking to build or improve their CNC turning workflows using Fusion 360.
To provide engineers with the practical skills needed to confidently create and manage 2-axis turning operations in Fusion 360, ensuring accurate toolpaths and efficient part programming.
