Cadspec's Guide to our Essential Skills Courses – 23 April 2018

Today’s design standards have come a long way over the past couple of decades and now demand a level of planning, preparation and precision that requires a multidisciplinary team of expertise. Luckily enough, we now have a huge range of technologies to utilize, from the IoT to cloud computing, big data and machine learning, technologies our predecessors could only have dreamed of; however mastering these types of technologies can be tricky. At Cadspec, our team of experts have previously worked in the AEC and MFG industries and know first-hand what challenges you’re up against in a 21st century environment. Our expert training team have over a decade’s worth of combined experience leading our Autodesk accredited courses and are in the best position to facilitate your learning.

Here is our guide to the Cadspec Essentials course range…

Who are the Essential Skills courses for?

Cadspec’s Essential Skills courses are designed for delegates who require comprehensive training in an Autodesk software solution. We receive applicants from companies large and small as well as individuals, with the choice of one to one or group training options to suit individual needs.

What are the course requirements?

The courses are appropriate for beginners in Autodesk software, with the only requirements being knowledge of industry specific terminology and a good understanding of windows operating systems. Please note some industry specific essentials courses require a working knowledge of AutoCAD, this will be stated on our website under the ‘Audience’ section.

What does the Essentials course range offer?

The majority of our Essentials skills courses are 3 days long, although some industry specific essentials courses are shorter depending on their content. They are designed to teach delegates the basic principles of using the software and to explain some further techniques that can be used to improve the efficiency of producing drawings and plans. This level of training will provide the foundations to explore and develop the usage of the software on your own, then when you’re ready there’s the option to take one of our advanced skills courses to further your knowledge and take your skills to the next level.

Where do I have to go?

All of our training courses are flexible and can be provided in your own office space or in one of our tailored training centres. All of our training rooms offer a professional classroom environment with on site parking, your own training station and large screen TV’s or projectors. All you have to do is show up and we’ll provide the computers and necessary equipment you’ll need, as well as a finger buffet lunch provided in one of our dedicated break out rooms. With Offices in Worcester, Derby, Bristol, Bridgend and Leeds, we’re never too far away so there’s usually no need for long journeys and costly overnight stays.
