AutoCAD Electrical Puts The Spark Back Into Automation

Established in 1987 Iconsys has an outstanding track record of successfully completed projects, delivered worldwide across a range of industries which includes metals, rubber, plastics, printing, materials handling, transportation and marine cable and pipe laying. Iconsys use AutoCAD Electrical to produce their CAD drawings and are already seeing productivity improvements. 

The Challenge

Iconsys were producing all their CAD drawing using Electrical Designer from Aceri. However, when Aceri became distributors of Autodesk's AutoCAD Electrical, Iconsys were concerned that Electrical Designer might be phased out and made the decision to look for an alternative solution.

Why Autodesk?

As Electrical Designer was an AutoCAD based product it seemed to be the logical choice to switch to AutoCAD Electrical. They worked with Aceri and Worcester based Cadspec to evaluate the product before eventually buying it. Three years on they are now reaping the benefits.
