What is it?
Only One AutoCAD is an updated version of the AutoCAD you are used to, only with more included! In order to provide more value to subscribers and to simplify the AutoCAD product line, the AutoCAD subscription is set to include access to all AutoCAD vertical product functionality from March 2018 and libraries as specialised toolsets from 2019. The subscription will be available with both single-user and multi-user access.
What is included?
The toolsets which will be included in the 2019 release of AutoCAD subscription include:
To switch or not to switch?
If you’ve only just gotten yourself familiar with the old AutoCAD subscription, don’t panic! Existing subscribers will be given the option of whether or not they want to move to the new AutoCAD including specialised toolsets or continue to renew their current AutoCAD/AutoCAD vertical subscription and will not be auto-migrated.
For customers who already have an AutoCAD subscription with us and wish to move to the new release of AutoCAD including specialised toolsets, we will need to determine if you are eligible to switch at this current moment or if you need to wait until your subscription is ready for renewal. It’s really easy to find out if you’re eligible, all you need to do is give our team a call on 01905 458000 and we’ll be able to tell you.
Will the pricing change?
If you already have an AutoCAD (excluding AutoCAD LT) subscription and are eligible to switch to the new release, there will be no extra cost for the remainder of your subscription term. However if you have already utilised our discount when switching from maintenance to subscription then there may be additional costs. If in doubt you can contact a member of our team who will be able to advise.
As of 22nd of March 2018, Autodesk will be setting a global pricing adjustment in order to align existing AutoCAD and AutoCAD vertical subscription renewal prices to be the same as AutoCAD including specialised toolsets. This means that there will be an alteration in the cost of all AutoCAD subscriptions when you renew. For more information on the pricing alterations, please contact a member of our team.
